glad to be home, but also incredibly pissed off cos i lost my cds on the plane i think. so there goes 25 cds.

I had a visit to the lovely town of Oppenheim today.

by accident.

the train didnt stop in Nackenheim where i wanted to get off. stupid train. i dont know WHY it didnt stop, it just didnt!! so i had to get off at the next station it sopped at (Oppenheim, three stations down the line) and wait for the next train back in the dirrection of Mainz hoping that it would stop at Nackenheim like it should. blergh

stupid german trains.

in other news, LOOK what I did. :)
going to be a pressie for host family when i leave. thought it was nicer than just printing a photo and framing it.

well. Today I went to Trier.

took 150 photos.

then got annoyed at photobucket cos I am over my picture limit (understandably with probably about 500 photos there) and it wouldnt let me register a new account.

then joined imagebay.com and got annoyed at the fact that it only lets you upload 10 pics at once.

and my finger is slightly less blue today. slightly.

I ordered maccas today! in german. and didnt stuff it up!

okay, so it was only a chocolate milkshake and some chips, but I GOT IT RIGHT! yay me.
I also bought a Rasmus cd. *worships*. whee. and a diary with pictures by salvador dali in it. it is cool.

am going to Köln not this weekend but the one after, to see 'WE WILL ROCK YOU' the queen musical! *spazzes with excitement*. yayayayayay. we were going to go to Afrika Afrika in Frankfurt, but Dagmar and Matthias found out that I like Queen, so we're gonna see we will rock you. *happy dance*. eee. and see Köln (which is Cologne to the englisch speaking world). has a HUUUUGE really famour gothic cathederal and a chocolate museum. eehehehe. *evil laugh*. yay Köln!!

we took down the christmas tree the other day. :(
sad. i alsways hate taking down xmas decorations. rather depressing.

you know what else is somewhat depressing? the fact that my index finger on my left hand has gone all puffy and swollen. and the fingernail is really dark blue. and beck said i have to stick a hot needle in it to releive the pressure thats building up or something. not sure if she was serious, but thr very idea of stabbing my sore swollen finger with a needle make me go all akfjhkjhsdjkhgkjh *shudder*.

so therefore i refuse to do it.

Hello darlings. Happy 2006 everyone!

I had quite a good New Years Eve. Just stayed at home, Alissa had some friends over. had pizza and chips and all the usual party food and a couple of beers (which even though I dont like them, I managed to drink anyway... :P). Watched Dinner for One on tv, watched dvds and then went and lit fireworks. Nackenheim is a little village surrounded by fields and stuff, and Alissa's house is basically right on the edge of the villiage so we went out onto one of the fields and lit our fireworks. it was so awesome! nothing like lighting your own fireworks and watching them go off. was awesome.

KABOOM. I love fireworks.

got woken up at 9 this morning. gah. Breakfast then everyone was kicked out of the house (everyone stayed the night) cos we went into Mainz for a Carnival Parade! People in Mainz are obsessed with Carnival, and it's a really big deal. The whole carnival season goes from the 11th of November to Rose Monday (february sometime, not sure the exact date) with heaps of parades and stuff going on.

parade in town today cos it was new years day.
